User Data Deletion Instructions

This document applies to AutoModz (automodz.pk), based in Lahore, Pakistan. Contact support@automodz.pk.

Overview

This page explains how users of AutoModz (automodz.pk) can request deletion of personal data, including information obtained through Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X (Twitter) when those options are enabled. This page satisfies Meta/Facebook User Data Deletion Instructions requirements and supports Google OAuth verification.

Option 1 — Delete your account (email & password users)

  1. Sign in at https://automodz.pk//login.
  2. Open Profile settings.
  3. Scroll to Delete account, enter your password, and confirm.

This removes your account profile and unlinks social login records. Order records required for tax and legal compliance may be retained in anonymised form (name/email replaced; no marketing use).

Option 2 — Social login users (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

If you registered using a social provider and cannot use password deletion, email us from your account email address:

support@automodz.pk

Include:

  • Subject line: Account Deletion Request
  • Your full name and the email on your AutoModz account
  • The sign-in method used (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X)
  • Optional: your order number if you want order data anonymised

We will verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days (usually sooner).

Option 3 — Facebook / Meta data deletion (automatic)

If you connected with Facebook Login, you can also remove app data from your Facebook Settings: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, remove AutoModz. Meta may notify us to delete data associated with your Facebook account through our callback endpoint:

When Meta sends a valid deletion request, we delete the Facebook SocialAccount link and anonymise or delete the associated user profile as described in our Privacy Policy.

What we delete

  • Account name, email, phone, avatar, and profile preferences
  • Social provider identifiers (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) stored in our database
  • Marketing preferences and non-essential session data

What may be retained (legal basis)

  • Completed order records, invoices, and payment references as required by tax and commercial law
  • Fraud-prevention and security logs for a limited period

Retained data is minimised and not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
